1. Pretty freakin' pathetic excuse...I always ask them "why we don't |
|
take out all of the world's evil dictators? North Korea is more of a threat than Iraq ever was."
I have yet to get an intelligent response to that question.

2. Let them look at www.icasualties.org |
|
and say our troops had to die for a tin horn dictator who was never a menace to us. Innocent Iraqis were also slaughtered without a second thought by this administration. Evil is where you see it.

3. Is the world better off without all the butchered Iraqi women and children |
|
too? Is the world better off without our 1700+ war dead?
I get called a "Saddam lover" if I point out that the US invasion probably killed off more Iraqis than Saddam would have had we left him in power. Not only that, the war has destroyed the infrastructure of cities, left depleted uranium all over the place. This war will still be killing Iraqis hundreds of years from now--if there are any Iraqis left.
Are we doomed to destroy ourselves?

4. The issue isn't Saddam |

It's about lying to the American people. We were never given accurate facts by the president to make that judgement. Even his risk analysis was was off.
The people of Basra (insert another Iraqi city here) will welcom us as liberators? THere's no fucking way in hell Bush and Rummy Dumby were telling the truth on that one. They had to know it was a lie when they said it.
I give this talking point the same amount of time I give the "Fly paper theory".

The only thing they've got are tired, worn-out lies to pacify the core repugs.
