The GOP coming clean would be the worst thing that could happen
If I were a religious person, I'd pray...

I'd pray that Ken Mehlman would just keep attacking anyone and everyone like an RPG just hit his Hummer, that Scott McClellan would continue his holy vow of silence, that the pundits continue to dig up more and more arcane personal trash, more and more removed from anything that matters.

But I'm not too worried--there's a lot of reason to place our full trust and confidence in the Republican Party. For when push comes to shove, when honor and integrity are on the line, when higher moral ground is sought--we can trust the GOP to do the wrong thing every time. And like Watergate, it's going to kick their ass up and down the street.

2. He reminds me of Hannah Arendt's description of Eichmann
In his mind he hasn't made any mistakes.

3. They can't come clean
they can't shake off the fundie whackjobs.
they can't reform the oligarchs.

They are riding a hell bound train on tracks they laid down.
The faster we can derail them, the fewer Americans they will drag down with them. At the end of that line is civil war.

Time to throw some wooden shoes into the gear box.

4. No, it would not be the worst thing
the problem they have is that the WMDs is what they justified to go into Iraq, and this blows it away, and that is serious

With all the number of lives lost, and resources plundered, to now say it was based on a lie is unforgivable
