Were WH officials responsible for GOP talking points issued last week?
If so, aren't they continuing to obstruct justice via the GOP by issuing more misrepresentations and lies? Isn't the GOP also obstructing justice by volunteering in such activity?

3. Rove probably wrote them
Repugs have a group that meets every week to determine how they will frame every issue...controversy etc. This is how they manage to all talk the same. Someone from the WH is at these meetings. They probably had an emergency session for the Rovian doctrine.

7. Are there records of those meetings?
I'd LOVE to see all those folks subpoenaed. I view them quite simply as co-conspirators in obstructing justice and in a cover-up of crimes against national security.

4. We have to be able to prove it.
They were behind the swiftboat slanderers and those who attacked John McCain. However, they have been able to maintain their denials of involvement. No doubt Mehlman is just Roves latest ventriliquists "dummy".

8. Securing sworn affidavits would be proof.
Of course, it would take a prosecutor to get that evidence.

6. Scotty said that he can't comment on that. You have to ask the RNC about
the talking points.

9. Any legal eagles here, today?
If WH officials are responsible for putting out misinformation ("talking points") which is intended to perpetuate the cover-up of a crime, are they and those who are cooperating with them guilty of a possible offense like obstruction of justice and/or conspiracy to cover-up a crime against national security?
