Does it not bother anyone that:
First the UK media said six bombs had gone off, then they said four bombs went off, and they had two safely contained?

First the UK media said that all the explosives were military grade C4 and not homemade, but now they tell us it was all homemade?

That there were timing devices attached to all the bombs, yet the bombers neglected to use them to detonate the bombs and thus suicided?

There was a joint intelligence / national security exercise regarding explosives in the Underground on the morning of 7-7-05, helping the emergency crews and anti-Terror task forces gain control of the London Underground extremely quickly?

Why are there always so many STRANGE THINGS happening with regard to these things???

I am a known conspiracy kook, but some of this stuff seems obvious even to right-wingers!!!

1. Yes, it bothers me
but it doesn't surprise me. They've taken lessons from the Bushies.

2. Yeah it's really amazing
that after a terrorist attack there are a lot of conflicting reports. The only possible explanation is that they are a bunch of filthy liars who are covering up that this whole thing was planned by Bush and Blair. I mean right after a terrorist attack you'd expect people to calmly report accurate information, so any change in the story can only mean corruption.

3. There are always conflicting reports in times of crisis
It happened on 9/11. I remember one news station reporting a car bomb at the state department and another at the UN.

It happens.

4. It is all quite understandable
Next time there is a crisis, you try to maintain a full information flow with no errors. It is not easy.

It appeared that six bombs had gone off at first because injured began appearing at multiple stations from one incident since the blast broke through walls into another line.

The power of the bombs suggested that it was high explosives. It turns out that in fact it was high explosives, just homemade ones rather than purloined military ones.

Regarding the timing devices, it appears that the bombs may have been jiggered by the bomb builder so that they exploded when armed rather than after a timed interval. So the so-called suicide bombers may have been partial victims too. They might easily have been told "Go to the platform, synchronize your watches, and then at 8:50 turn your timers on and get off at the next stop. We will call the police and they will clear the station." Instead, the mastermind all along planned to sacrifice the youths and all the other victims instantly.

Conspiracy enthusiasts always forget that the more moving parts a theory has (i.e. the more people who need to be involved) the more likely it is to fall apart. The simple actions are the ones that succeed.

5. Yep. The timing devices is what I remembered.
I said the same thing to my hubby a few days ago. "Doesn't anyone remember? Doesn't anyone notice that the story has dramatically changed?"

Peace.

6. Occam's razor:
the simplest explanation suffices. In an ongoing investigation, of *course* the story is going to change as more evidence gets uncovered. That seems pretty obvious to me.
