Made my Republican Sis blanche at the dinner table this evening...

It was at my mother's 75th birthday and Sis was there with her two kids aged nine and eleven.

We were talking about words that were hard to say.

I said, "Who here can say nuclear?"

They chimed "NUCLEAR!"

"Not 'nukular?'" I responded.

"Nooooo! That's silly!"


"Well, you can speak better than the President. He can't say it right." I said and looked across the table at a cold hard stare.

I am such an evil man.

He still corrects me.
