Destructive Consciousness

We are living in a culture where peace and love are scarce commodities. In fact they are mocked. Since the war on progressive/sustainable thought(or war on the sixties movement) really heated up in 1980, the planet earth has devolved into a rapidly heating hell. Words like "permaculture", "sustainable", "organic", are, or have recently been, foriegn to the "straight" world. Something to be made fun of and put down.

This is the facts folks. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but reality is harsh. The aggressive, psuedo-christo, "to hell with the earth because jesus will save us" crowd rules the day. They see no value in this planet. Their heads are firmly closed with visions of some fairytale land where a bearded benevolent father brings forth his wrath on everyone but them. They are joined with those who are not necessarily religious but use it as an avenue to power like Bu$h Crime Family has.

Please indulge me while I put this into a metaphysical light. There a 4 types of "souls" or "spirits" if you will and I am sure, many more variations on this theme:
1. mind open, assertive, constructs peace and enlightens others
2. mind opening, more passive, conflicts with destruction but still laughs with it
3. mind becoming closed, semi aggressive, delights in destructive behavior
4. mind closed, aggressive, destructive

Numbers 3 and 4 have always been at war with 1. Throughout history the battle has raged. Slavery throughout the ages, Native America, The Inquisition, the "sixties", Reagan era, and so much more.

There are answers to saving this planet, reducing the amount of people, and turning this earth into a sustainable, vibrant, balanced eco-system. It can be done but the ignorant fear mongers, short sighted money grubbers and religion pushers refuse to open to this fact. They are running and ruining this world.

I hearken to a time when I sense I walked this planet as an Incan and then an Apache. I resort to creating worlds in the deep places of my soul where vibrant balance and loving feelings rule the day but where only those that are truly "on the bus" are allowed.

1. How ironic that you wrote this

I have just been having a deep email conversation with such a jesus person and he literally believes that unless you state that jesus is the one then you don't get to "get on the bus". I told him it sounded a lot like the Borg on Star Trek that said "resistance is futile". I told him that if god is really like that, it reminded me of what I saw down south in the 60's with the blacks and I wouldn't worship those kind of people. Needless to say after my email he has been very quiet, hasn't written back yet. He supports Bush also 100%, it has been interesting having this conversation and realizing on the inside just how limited their mind set way is. Is scares me.

Thanks for posting this, it gives me faith that I'm not alone in my beliefs.

2. I would add one more battle to your list, one which I think is

apropos to today's climate of hatred in the name of...

The first time the Christ came to this earth, he too constructed peace and attempted to enlighten others about the evil of the money changers and war mongers - they crucified Him. If another Christ were to come to this earth today, in today's climate, regardless of his appearance, but especially if He wasn't white, male, hetero, monied, propertied, politically powerful, they would once again crucify Him.

We have learned little these past 2000 years.


Does anyone remember studies and reports during the 60s and 70s from which we learned that children are each different in their learning style - some learn by rote, some learn by experience, some learn best in the early morning hours, some learn best later in the day - and that we should design our school system accordingly?

Does anyone remember when we talked of prisons as places to rehabilitate rather than punish?

And you are correct, we have learned 0 from the last 2000 years. In my opionion we have regressed in the last 50 years that I have been alive. When did this jesus christ stuff become so important. You talk to Jews and they still think he is coming. Who the hell really knows, but if there is a God, don't you think he just wanted us to all just get along and to feed our hungry and teach our young? Why is that such a hard concept to grasp?

Here's where we stand. When we transcend the old order we are left alone only to integrate what's important in the past with what is true today.
This mass failure to do so, leads to a state of dissociation.
Actually the transcendence is evolution, as we evolve into spiritual beings.

anal means greed.. from anal-retentive which holds feces in.

sadistic means pain loving.

the GOP is formed of folks who are centered on greed and pain.

we are formed of folks centered on normal love. Creating, imporving, ending pain everywhere.
