Bush* going prime-time to help his ol' buddy KKKarl.
So he's going to make his SCOTUS nominee in prime-time. Ok George, that will still not stop the indictments from coming, nor will it change one damned thing in the Rove investigation. It may however, divert the media from their Rove feeding frenzy.....and maybe not.

1. Change subject line to-Rove tells W to go on prime time TV
I think that would be more apt. IMHO

4. I wonder.....
if Bush can appoint someone, if they start impeachment proceedings. How much validity can an appointee have at this point?

Either way, Bush is fiddling while Rome is burning. Or should I say, Rove is burning.

7. I'll never do that again.........
well, the bush DRINKING game, anyway. I was totally annihilated before the end of his speech. There were so many "terrorist", "9/11's", "freedom's" etc. in the first 5 minutes I couldn't keep up! And a hangover? :puke: Alcohol was never intended to be consumed in such a rapid manner.
Bingo? Sure, why not. But NO DRINKING! I'm getting nauseous just thinking about it. :puke:

6. I wonder if he'll take questions?
 Because if he does, NO ONE is going to ask him about his shitty SS nominee. All the Press wants to know about is his flip-flop on the Rovegate scandal.
I hope one of them, just ONE of them makes the statement that one of our newer members made yesterday. "So, Mr. President, you were FOR the firing of those people in your administration who leaked the name of a CIA agent, BEFORE you were AGAINST it? Do I have that right, Mr. President?"
We'd be able to see all of the blood rush to his head and explode on the spot! What a dick!

His numbers were so good after the rousing speech he gave in front of the troops. You go, George. If this keeps up none of the networks will carry him (other than Faux).

to slow go naming a nominee so the confrimation would be time constrained and not allow for in depth questioning? I wonder what's happened that they now NEED a long confirmation process to take up the summer news cycle. Hmmmmm, I rover, I mean I wonder...

12. After seeing McClellan get skewered, I doubt it.
I guess it depends on what Karl ordered him to do.
