Legendary Funds Manager Predicts Utter Global Collapse Stemming From Bursting of Property Bubble
http://andongkim.com/articles/2005/06/JRobertsonglobalcollapse.htm

In a recent interview on CNBC with Ron Insana, one of the "old-timer" funds manager, Julian Robertson, predicted "utter global collapse" as a consequence of the bursting of the world-wide property bubble.

Often called "Never Been Wrong Robertson", the former head of Tiger Management (once the largest hedge fund in the world), is extremely worried about the speculative bubble in real estate.

Specifically, he is very worried about a world that is sustained by American consumer spending which is in turn 1/4 sustained by a property bubble. He predicts that 20 million people could lose their homes once the property bubble bursts.

2. Bell Hooks predicted this a long time ago
in her book, "Class Matters." She states that the revolution will come when the housing market reaches its peak, and the majority of the population is homeless.

Many people think they are homeowners, most are not however. A mortgage does not make you a homeowner, just a bank's bitch with a house that you're still paying off.

3. Perhaps, unfortunately, this may be the fuel needed to start...
a long-needed revolution not only with the way we govern ourselves but also with the lifestyle we choose to adopt. I believe there is a better way to live our lives that is not only sustainable but more humane than the current order of "dog-eat-dog" existence, but people are too comfortable to listen, or they believe they are too comfortable. (Perception is reality)

When the dream comes crashing down to the ground in fiery destruction, those who are willing to chart a new, revolutionary course with economics and politics will be waiting in the wings to make their mark. Time grows short though. Not all of these individuals will be in place when the system finally implodes from the weight of its own largesse and excess.
