4. YES, of course. The only way a SCOTUS judge looses his seat
is by rtirement, death or impeachment by the House and removal by the Senate.

If he's not confirmed by the senate. He won't be if * is in the middle of an impeachment. But of course * won't be impeached by a republican senate so it doesn't matter.

Only the House can impeach. e.g., Clinton was impeached by the House.

I don't think the Republicans in Congress will ever break with Bush in large enough numbers for impeachment.
