DO NOT drop the ball on Rovegate/DSM
The Senate won't start work on this nomination for several weeks.

In the meantime, let the various special interest groups do their work behind the scenes to build a case against Roberts. Let's let these groups do the research and report back to us, and you know they will... then, at the appropriate time, we'll start whatever popular camapaign we need to work on to prevent Roberts from taking the seat.

The best thing we can do during the next several weeks to continue the pressure regarding ROVEGATE and the Downing Street memo (and other similar revelatory releases). Look how far we have already gotten! Blood is in the water, the sharks in the press sense it, and we have to keep pricking this administration more and more to draw out as much blood as possible. Leave no stone unturned as we and the blogosphere uncover all the facts and keep the pressure on the MSM to keep the ROVE GATE story alive.

While we're working on all the above, we should probably try to give the appearance of lying low on the Roberts nomination. Then, at a point the right wing least expects, we'll strike from nowhere and they won't know what hit them. This will of course happen after we have Rove nailed! (and that could happen in a few short weeks if we keep the heat on HIGH)

Let's make this a long hot summer for Bush.

11. Rove and the DSM spell out the whole crime
and the crime Bush seems to be guilty of is treason.
Bush makes Nixon look like a saint in comparison.

12. With the WSJ article yesterday
and the Conyers blog about keeping focus, the issue is not whether we go in another direction, it's making sure we keep the focus of the media. We must remain diligent! Keep sending emails to everyone we can think of. Just sent mine to KO reminding him of the critical importance of treason, deaths caused by kkkarl's revenge, millions thrown out the window, etc. It's HARD WORK to keep up with this bs.

13. Karl Rove front and center
The dude is the lynch pin and Bush can never let him go for obvious reasons. Putting the heat on Karl is putting the heat on both of them, don't be fooled or sidetracked. The reason for SC nomination is because of the heat on Karl and Bush and not just your ordinary distraction :kick:

15. I agree. We must refuse to allow the RW to drive OUR agenda.
Presently, it is in our best interests and the interests of our country to focus on revealing this criminal regime. As you stated, there a numerous special interest groups that will work up a movement on the Roberts appointment. I fully trust those groups to be effective.

Meanwhile, we need to make the unfolding scandal of crimes at the highest levels of the executive branch the anchor of our relentless scorn. Failing to push for accountability and the rule of law on these bastards would be as much of a mistake as the Dems failure to demand justice in the Iran/Contra crimes.
