Let's not worry about SCOTUS but focus on Rove?
Pardon my saying so, but what the hell?!

I understand that Karl Rove is vehemently disliked by the left, but don't you think Turd Blossom would be tickled pink if we turned all of our guns on him, while Shrub quietly gives Scalia Jr. a lifetime appointment to the highest court in the land?

A Supreme Court appointee has the power to shape the law for DECADES after Shrub and his handlers are gone.

Let's not be so short sighted that we win a battle at the expense of the war.

2. This either/or business is a bit too much...
... on both sides.

Intelligent people have the ability to keep several important things in mind at the same time. Most people do that at work every day.

Cheers.

4. I agree with you,
but I also think that ANYONE Turd Blossom's "boss" will nominate to the Supreme Court will be equally abhorrent.

Fascism's a bitch, ain't it?

5. Yes...Focus on Rove
Sorry to inform folks here, but the radical Republicans control the U.S. Senate. And there are five or six "Democrats" who are so afraid of Bush that we cannot count on them.

So, unless a skeleton is found in Roberts closet, the Supreme Court battle is not winnable.

And, I think you can make the case that the SCOTUS fight would be the REAL distraction ...

It's not about Rove, per se ... this is the BIG scandal about the BIG LIE. Getting to the truth about Rove and the leak and the forged documents and the Downing Street Minutes has the potential to derail a Supreme Court nominee -- by bringing the whole Bush regime down.

Don't be fooled ... the real battle is about the 'Bush's Big Iraq Lie scandal'.
