Diversion? Not for Fitzgerald.
Calm down, folks.

The repugs can name their pick a week early to try and divert the MSM from Rove, but Fitzgerald is not the media. From what I can tell, his eye is directly on the ball. He's focused on indictments.

All the PR spin in the world will not stop a criminal court, and I get the feeling that's where Rove will wind up.

1. Yep, whether WE concentrate on the Treason or the SCOTUS pick or both
doesn't matter to the case Fitz is preparing, only the publics knowledge and reaction to it.

7. It does matter
Because if Fitzgerald does his job, Rove goes to jail.

Wouldn't that be nice?

Doing the perp walk is not spin, that's not perception, that's the reality of a criminal court.

6. You got it.
These constant cries of "It's a distraction! It's a distraction! AAARRRGHH!" every time something new happens in the world, as it will, are getting downright silly. Are these the same folks who seemingly stay tuned in to the MSM all day to breathlessly report the latest outrage it commits? It seems so. "OMG, you'll NEVER believe what Tweety just said!!!!11"

Well, I got that message a while back. I know MSM is evil. That's why I generally avoid it. It may fool the credulous, but the people who really shape events don't take their cues from it.
