a virtual Town Hall meeting, intelligently and passionately discussing issues, educating each other, practicing REAL debate, going out to the real world and passing this information on to a few friends, educating them, who in turn educate others....nah, nothing we do here really matters.

We want to encourage involvement in all our issues and fighting amongst ourselves works against that. in a rational manner....not fight each other. Reasoned debate is healthy. Infighting is not.

There are enough of us here to press on all fronts. Each of us is passionate about one issue or another. We each need to work to our strength and passion.


Our diversity, our stubborn cantankerous belief that every individual is precious and has a voice that should be heard defines us as liberals/progresives/Democrats...and our unity in spite of this diversity is our greatest strength.
