Without a doubt the dumbest/scariest thing Bush has EVER said

"I'm looking forward to a goodnight sleep on the soil of a friend"

-G.W.Bush-
June 29th, 2005

SHow this quote to all the idiots you know who voted for Bush. They usually get defensive & snippy because they know they can't defend it & if they do they come across looking just as dumb as he does.

3. Sorry, it didn't frighten me a bit.
I think it has something to do with property ownership. People talk like that in places where they own land.

9. If you lived in Texas, you might talk like that.
In fact, that may be a common expression. I come from farming country and I've heard it before.

We spend our time repeatedly underestimating Bush. He is not the idiot we make him out to be. We did the same thing with Reagan and he also used it to his advantage.

Ann Richards was right. Bush is smart, crafty and relentless. How many more times are we going to let him sucker punch us before we realize it?

12. He's still an idiot. He's just dangerous.
The only intelligence he appears to posess is in his limbic system, the most "primitive" part of the brain, the part that governs "fight or flight". So he's sly, he's cunning, he's dangerous, and he's a freaking MORON.

I've lived in Texas. Never heard the phrase.

Me too. I lived in Dallas and didn't own property. I never heard about a friend's soil there. In South Dakota farm country, it was common.

As long as we keep shouting MORON (and believing it) we keep getting sucker punched. It's pure rope-a-dope and we keep playing the fool.

We're getting our butts kicked. It's time to change tactics.

8. So property owners talk about
"the soil of a friend"? I've never heard that phrase uttered by anyone anywhere, not 'til I read Dimwit's quote anyway.

10. The phrase is 'on friendly soil'.
The confusion of syntax is common with people who learn english as a second language.

His first language is, of course, Chimpanzee.

7. Higher Father
Edited on Wed Jul-20-05 10:42 AM by The Night Owl
When Bush was asked if he ever asks his father for advice on Iraq, Bush said the following...

"He is the wrong father to appeal to for advice. The wrong father to go to, to appeal to in terms of strength. There's a higher Father that I appeal to." - Chimpanzee

:scared:

So, instead of relying on the advice of his father, a former president who presided over the first war against Iraq, Bush relies on what he imagines God wants him to do. That should scare everyone.

13. You know, every time you say it's the dumbest thing?
Bush takes it as a personal challenge.
