1. You have the right plan, and any well meaning person who thought about it for two minutes would agree with you.

2. Anybody who disagrees with you is either a wussy sell-out or a pie-in-the-sky dreamer.

3. You might feel the urge to think that people who disagree with you might be good hearted people who genuinely want to see progressive priniciples enacted, but differ with you on tactics. Stifle such feelings, and remember points 1 and 2.

2. The brand of democracy I have been weaned on is being systematically

perverted at every turn by bullies with power and money. If this keeps up, will the long term result be that another country in the world will ulitimately be the one that embodies the democracy I, myself have come to associate with "democracy? Individual rights, free speech, compassion, fairness, transparency, etc. If so, what countries would be in the running?
