Global Warming Books? Can Anyone Recommend?

I'm not sure if this is the right section, so don't kill me ;)

Are there any books you can recommend that explains what global warming really is, and are there any books answering the naysayers who want to believe it's not happening?

1. Three books I liked on the subject

Frozen earth : the once and future story of ice ages / Doug Macdougall.

The two-mile time machine : ice cores, abrupt climate change, and our future / Richard B. Alley.

If you're interested on how civilizations are affected by the climate, this is a good read:

The Little Ice Age : how climate made history 1300-1850 / Brian Fagan.

3. You can start with Scientific American magazine.

Most of the books I found online looked like complete techno-speak, not easy to understand for those of us who aren't scientists. I recommend you go to your local science museum, they are likely to have some kind of display on global warming that demonstrates the principles in easy-to-understand ways. That's how my boyfriend, who is a creationist btw, was finally won over to the reality of global warming.

6. Well, the naysayers generally aren't scientists.
