I have decided to make a new word

Roved: a nasty, sleezy political attack or character assassination based on half truths or outright lies designed to cast a pall over otherwise decent people or opponents of George W. Bush hatched from the Machiavellian mind of Karl Rove. In the future, this term will come to mean any kind of sleezy attack or character assassination usually prompted by behind-the-scenes lying or misrepresentation and then pretending not to know the source of those misrepresentations .
