My town is going to get AAR!

I'm very excited that my town is going to get AAR! I read about it first in the state threads in Tennessee but had to read for it myself. They tell a good bit about the station and tell who's all on there. They call Mike Malloy Mike Mallow though. LOL. I thought that was funny. Now I can listen to the program in my car going somewhere. Yay! I'm very excited so I wanted to share. If you live in and/or around the Chattanooga, Tennessee area here's more information about it.

I'm a little surprised personally. My town isn't very big (but we're not small either). We can go either way though so that's good. :D In 1997-2001 we had a democratic mayor, in 2001-2005 we had a republican (he wasn't too bad) and now we have an indie guy who I happily voted for.

3. I'll have to include this info. when I call (again) Talk 102.3 and

the NY office of Citadel Broadcasting to let them know that not only am I still pissed that Max Hackett was fired from the FM, 1-4 afternoon slot, but that it seems that I won't have to purchase a satellite radio afterall!!

I do so hope that this comes to pass.

5. Wow surprised

I'm not sure when they're supposed to get it. I think sometime next month. But it would be nice. Then when my parents, brother and I go on a trip somewhere in my car we can listen to AAR instead of Rush Limbaugh. Ew. My dad was listening to that filth in my car Monday when we were going to see my grandfather. Ugh. Thankfully I had Rhandi Rhodes on my ipod and was listening to that since I wasn't driving.

You may remember how Republicans have gloated all this time over Tennessee's going red in 2000's Presidential election. If AAR shows up in your state, maybe the Midwest has reason to hope, too!

I can't imagine what it will be like for you to have it right there in your own home town. Very cool.
