Islam is, for the most part, a liberal religion, and Sufis are most liberal, giving women equal rights to men-women are heads of orders, senior teachers, shaykhas, etc. The fundamentalists of Islam don't like us any more than the fundamentalist "Christians" and followers of Bush like liberals.
