on PBS said, "the president is the one who decides whether or not we live in peace. Not the Senate---not the House---the president." Still timely.

1. He had some other poignant comments
He was talking about Vietnam, I think, or maybe Cuba, but he was saying, we cannot force freedom on people. They have to be ready to accept it for themselves, and the movements have to come from within. Timeless comments by JFK...
