Next time a right-winger starts up with the "They hate us for our freedom" crap. Just tell them "No, you jackass, they hate us because we TOOK AWAY their freedom."

Given the dictatorships both our countries support, the democratic or otherwise representative gvernments both our countries have overthrown, I'd say that's a pretty on-the-mark statement. :)
