Why The Fuck Don't Senate Dems Sponsor A PRO CHOICE Amendment?
Why are we always on the defensive against these mindless far rightwing constitutional amendments.

70% of the country supports a woman's right to choose!

"No State shall pass a law which impedes or denies a woman's right to access to medical healthcare during pregnancy or to make a private decision, in consultation with her medical professional, choosing to either continue or terminate her pregnancy."

There, you sad, spineless fucks, I've written you a rough draft, now get the best Washington legal minds together and tighten it, edit it, introduce it simultaneously on the Senate and House floor and LEARN HOW TO PLAY WEDGE ISSUE POLITICS FOR CHRISSAKE!

3. Because it would never get to the floor.
The Pugs would see to that.

6. Even better!
Let them BLOCK it. The Dems should hold a big press conference announcing that they are introducing it and then another big one to announce the Republicans blocking it.

WEDGE POLITICS. They have to learn how to do it.

5. Great idea - good start.
Should add maybe: "Once this bill is enacted, it shall take a 3/4 majority to alter it in any way."

The anti-choice wing nuts seem to like things like that - we should do it too.
