Kennedy on TDS talking about link between Autism and the Childhood...
...vacines On The Daily SHow!

ABC pulled a story he did on it, once they found out what the subject was!

We've spread it to China Now!

Sorry, just ended, they only gave him the normal 5 Minutes.

Replay at 1:00am EDT

2. I thought Kennedy was on for about
10 minutes. He can talk fast and say a lot.

I had heard all that about abc before so no surprise. But, it's some scary shit.

Those poor kids and their families. He said it's in flu shots too.

8. O.K. it was a little more than 5 mins., but it wasn't long enough...
...for him to say all the important stuff he was trying to say.

But at least he did get some of it said.

9. pisses me off, my kids were smack in the middle of that
i saw it doing it to my oldest son. he wasnt extreme like a lot of children. and we can easily work with him. i said when he was two and saw him with isgns, it was the vaccines and that was 8 years ago. also the dude said speech impediment. my youngest has been to all kinds of doctors for that. includeing a cat scan that cost me a couple thousand, a month ago. now i wonder.

13. I'm so sorry to hear that, I really hope this issue gets more attention.
I had a similar situation when I was a kid in the 1970's.

I grew up with a Learning Disability. It wasn't until I was 32 that I was diagnosed and treated for ADD.

Turns out that Smelly Dump, (that was less than a mile from my house) and the Creek (Drainage Ditch) that my best friend and I used to play in and around all the time, was a EPA Super Fund toxic waste dump.

But worst than that, it turns out we had 3 Super Fund Clean up sites in my town, and most of City Water wells were contaminated!

Did the City tell anyone? Not that I remember.

I only learned about it in the last few years, thanks to the internet.

i tell you i have been watching children a lot. i saw autistic behaviors after the shots that were amazing. my son i would be label add, not the hyper. he is so obtuse, and the noise in his head. i spent the first three years of his education reading the books and looking for different tools so he could focus better. he is a genius. above and beyond. but certainly makes it challenging for him in life. teachers of course wanted to drug him.

a given was china had none, and now china has lots. amazing what abc did alone. i wish that would get out. there is just so much, to get out. everywhere. on all levels between the gov, coporations.

17. Don't knock the Drugs, If I had some for ADD when I was a kid...,
...my live would most likely be very different today. I might have been able to go to, and graduate from, a regular Collage.

I barely made it though High School, by getting a LOT of help from my Mom and Dad, Talking Books (which in the past, had only been available to the Blind and the Physically Handicapped) and going the Vocational training route.

I did go on to get a B.A. from one of the best Photography Schools, now I just struggle to make enough to get by.

The right drugs, from a good specialist, (not just you Family G.P.) can make a world of difference.

18. i knock the drugs.
i have a brother add. and his daughter is. in the frustration, there are tools to learn to embrace

i invert numbers. there is a feel i have learned when i do this. a particular number i do it with. i have learned to recognize and then double checking. i would rather find the tools to understand and embrace this part of self than drugging. (depends on severity).

you didnt recognize, so you werent able to implement these things into your life. we are aware of them and understand them better now, now,......we can find real lasting solution that the child learns. empowers them.

i tell my son, you get to acknowledge, but you dont get to use it as an excuse. we ALL have our cross to bear, this is his. we also recognize and value the gift in his challenge. we wouldnt want him any other way. his abillity to see the whole is amazing. he doesnt have to be perfect. he gets to be perfectly imperfect.

19. I've never had Dyslexia or the same troubles, but before the drugs...
...I had almost NO Short term memory, which made reading very difficult, and still can't do much more than basic Math. Also, if I didn't use the Spell Checker here, you would think I was a total idiot. I still can't spell to save my life, but my spelling was MUCH worst.

I recently came up with a good analogy, to explain my Learning Disability: My brain is like a Computer with very small, totally Full Hard drive; once it's off the screen, it most likely gone. But the weird thing is, I have an EXCELLENT Long-term memory. I also score 138-142 on most I.Q. tests, which is borderline Genius (140+).

I agree with you that drugs should NOT be the first thing tried, good coping skills are very important and should be tried first, but I also wish that I had been given the option of drugs when I was younger. I probably would have been more "socially successful" and might not have ended up 41 and still very single.

The truth is, I was VERY anti-drugs in those days, but it really was not an option. Drugs were not used, back then, for Learning Disabilities and nobody had ever heard of Adult ADD. I don't know that much about Autism to know if they would help or not, I'm just saying, keep an open mind about the subject, I wish, almost everyday, that I had.

When I was diagnosed with Adult ADD in 1997, the use of Drugs to help adults with short-term memory problems, was still just an experiment that was being tried here, at Emory University in Atlanta. The main reason I agreed to be part of the informal study, was because I was tired of alway feeling like I was about to get fired by my employers. I think the main reason I could hold a job was, my employers could tell that I was trying very hard to do my best, but my best was not that good. If it hadn't been for the Fair Labor Laws, I doubt I could have held onto a job for long.

Now I take simple, stimulant drugs, that were invented 30+ years ago, and they make a world of difference. When first started them, my family kept telling me how amazing it was to have a regular conversation with me. I had never known it was difficult, but they said that I used to talk so slow, that talking to me was difficult for them.

20. you and i agree, we are just agreeing different ways
it depends on the degree of the challenge. i dont want people to so readily go to drug, because a lot of it isnt in the extreme. it is a mere irritant. yet can be addressed thru learned skills. and then there is the more extreme. and i would absolutely embrace drug for this. to allow a normalcy, and ability not to sit in confusion. i so respect that. adhd the hyper impulsive. i have seen the extreme in that, and the relief for those children that are given a drug. i have also seen the adhd where a calming hand, and calming techniques will take care of it

i so thank you for your story. i am fascinated by all this, and have been researching, listening, and watching for years.

and yes, inevitably these people have high iq's. that is for sure.
