My fave so far:

I think it is illegal for the Washington Post to publish this.

I surely hope they get into a heap of trouble for it.

I shit you not.

1. heheh
they're claiming something ELSE in the paragraph was probably secret. As the original poster there said, they never give up, do they?

2. Yup -- that's a cute post
The issue is what else is in the paragraph???

Any document that has any secret item is automatically a secret document.

Any paragraph that has any secret item is automatically a secret paragraph. But that doesn't mean that Plame's name being in the paragraph was the secret item.

4. Heheh. They are in denial already.
"Oh, just because Plame's name was in a secret paragraph doesn't mean her name was secret."

Despite the CIA initiating the case.
Despite the CIA saying so.
Despite the 8 secret pages that changed a judge's mind and sent Miller to jail.
Despite the letter from all the ex-CIA agents.

The last few days watching DU I've seen tons of threads where people were asking for details to be filled in. DUers read the freeper lies and even though they know they are probably lies, they apply themselves and get to the bottom of the matter.

Freepers prefer just to believe the lies in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

The difference between us couldn't be more plainly obvious.

I don't even follow that logic, there is a secret document (A), and within it is a secret paragraph (B), and Plames name (C) is in a (B) within an (A), somehow it is not secret??!:wtf:

...that Fitz is after Wilson and Plame (and possibly Hitlery), and is just using Rove as a disraction.

9. Here's a good idea from one....
Could it be ? that the WASHINGTON COMPOST is leaking classified information ? if so ? we need full senate hearings, blast news around the globe that they will be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Yes! Let's have hearings on leaking intelligence! Great idea, freeptard!

Oh man. Denial indeed. How would it be illegal? Did they not give anything to back up their case? I love how they just say stuff and never have to give anything to back up them up. It's like it's their word so it's so. :eyes:

14. This is borderline tin foil Freeper genius
"No one in the WH knew who Wilson was, why he went to Niger, what he was doing there, and why he reported his findings to the press.
The U.N, France, and Germany, all anti-US, control the uranium mines in Africa.

Wilson wasn't there to find information. He was there to DELIVER information."

No one knew who a diplomat was?!

16. These are the same people
who hailed Wilson as a hero when he stood up to Saddam before the first Gulf War. But anybody who attacks the chimperor must be destroyed. Freaks.

That's right, "concerned about politics." Those big meanies wouldn't let us colonize Africa. Well, we're gonna colonize Iraq and Afghanistan! That'll show 'em!
