Larry C. Johnson is a former CIA officer who trained with outed CIA officer Valerie Plame. Johnson was also the deputy director of the U.S. State Department Office of Counterterrorism between 1989 and 1993. He’s currently the CEO of BERG Associates, an international security consulting firm. You can read more from Johnson at his group blog.

Former Vermont Governor Howard Dean is the head of the Democratic National Committee. Dean is also the founder of “Democracy for America,” a grassroots organization "dedicated to grassroots activism and supporting candidates at all levels of government."

Regular Thomas Oliphant has been a correspondent for The Boston Globe since 1968 and its Washington columnist since 1989. He's written two columns this past week: Stealth plan could stymie the Senate on stem cells and The apostle of bizarre insensitivity on Rick Santorum.

Dan Esty is a professor at the Yale School of Law and the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. He is also the Director of the Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy. His latest survey measures American attitudes on issues in environmental and energy policy.
