6. great point - Think Andrea would ask a question of Bush
in one of those deals where he says there will be no questions at the White House? That's what she did in Sudan after they said there'd be no questions.

That's rich!

She gets shoved by THEIR dictators as opposed to what?

Our dictators trying to ruin the commentator and then outing their spouse as a CIA operative?

Yeah Andrea, I am real outraged by this (Heavy HEAVY sarcasm off)

"Think that a third world country would dare do that if we didn't have a weakling and coward as pResident? But we do, and he's also alienated every ally we've got in the world. And as a result, this incompetent drunk isn't going to do anything about this but dodge questions."

Don't blink or you'll miss it.

On edit: Gone again...

Flame away, but I find this incredibly funny
In fact it's a gut buster. Look, one would think jack booted thugs are Andrea's kind of people. She goes out of her way to felate the current crop of jack booted thugs in the White House on a daily basis. She's a complete JOKE.

10. Certainly no flame here...
Given her husband's position in the Gov I don't understand how she is even given political assignments--it certainly seems to me to be a massive conflict of interest esp in light of the fact that she has been such a WH cheerleader.

7. I wondered how
long it would take for this to show up on DU.

I saw it on the streamer on MSNBC this morning but none of the talking heads were saying anything and i didn't stay tuned in long enough anyway.

Apparently some of Condi's staff was also "forcably (at gun point) denied access to the venue.....

Also, again just from the streamer, Condi said it "made her mad" to see her press corps pushed around like that....although I'm guessing she was just jealous of the Sudanese for being able to get away with treating the press like that...especially at GUNPOINT!

17. They didn't want reporters asking about genocide
or the govt. involvment and they got physical with the press to get their point across.

But for some reason that's not what's being discussed here.

18. What if Bush Co routinely punched out reporters?
Particularly foreign reporters who question what he was doing in Iraq etc. Would that really be acceptable behaviour. I don't like to see any reporter pushed around. Whether it is an American or foreign reporter. When foreign reporters get killed or wounded in Iraq because of "misfire" don't we generally condemn it? I know I do.
