Or have looked thru a microscope. I was just wondering because I thought it was against the law to practice medicine without a license?

1. A lot of pro-life people are not nazis
I'm pro-life, I have a daughter I love because I am. I just don't insist everyone else feel the way I do. When my daughter was conceived, I had a good job, lived in a nice place in Brooklyn, and this was not in any way a hardship, apart from the lost sleep. To judge someone who has nothing, nowhere to bring up the child, no job...that is evil.

2. I was kicked out of my family's church
For not taking pictures of women entering abortion clinics so that they can be shamed or worse. I have young onset parkinson's and my bodies on fire and in agony every day because pro lifer dont want stem cell research. I have been called everything from an embryo farmer to toddler killer. Now what was that about evil?

4. You sound pro-choice, not pro-life
it sounds like you favor allowing everyone to be able to decide for themselves what they would do if faced with an unwanted pregnancy.

3. Not to put too fine a point on it,
but all physicians are pro-life.

I know, I know. You were referring to the wackos that claim to be pro-life but believe that the right to life begins at conception and ends at birth. Of those, not many have a valid MD degree and those that do, should have their license pulled.

5. Actually
I was referring to a whole slew of medical issues ranging from conception to death. The world is not a nice neat black and white package. Everyone wants to be the sole authority without thinking of consequences. The baby is a symbionte and there are times no matter how tragic that is medical necessity.

7. No argument there
My only point is that physicians are the real pro-life types.

Those that argue exclusively for the unborn child and treat the mother as merely a vessel on the other hand, are not pro-life. When we use that term to refer to them we give them free propaganda. They are not pro-life; they are monsters. and we should treat them accordingly.

I'm sorry that I did not make my point clear.

8. True thats the problem with labels
It promotes sloppy check box thinking. I dont care if some believes in creation evolution or what have you but once the start segerating on belief system i get fired up. I also believe that no ones belief in god, religion, or government has the right to keep me sick. For instance how would "they" like it if "I" said that applying band aids to open wounds was against my beliefs. Would they sit thier and happily bleed to death to justify my religious view points?
The first ammendment gives us the right to practice religion, it doesn't give us the right to dictate it.
