3. What's Powell's Role in All This?

This is a serious question. He had the document, it would seem, on Air Force 1. If somebody saw it, who was it? and more importantly how did they get to see it?

What's Powell's role in all this?

1. Did he show the memo to Bush, Rove, Libby, or others?
2. Was he authorized to show the memo to them by the security status of the document?
3. Did he not show the memo to anyone voluntarily? (with the implication being, he was sloppy in handling it).
4. Is he at all culpable in the release of the agent's name by sloppiness or intentional sharing?
5. Was he taken advantage of in this whole process and does he know who the guilty parties are?
6. If so (he knows), will he turn them in/has he turned them in?
7. Why on earth did he speak to the UN supporting Bush when his very best people were telling him there was nothing to the Niger-Iraq connection?

Powell is an artful dodger but can he dodge this?

I'm curious about Powell's role as well, since I still think he was taken for a ride just like the rest of us...even moreso.

This regime knew that Powell was one of the few credible links that could swing other nations and popular opinion in favor of their invasion. He was gonna sell their case, whether he liked it or not.

IMHO, Powell was fed the bogus intel and other things to make it look like he was part of the inner cicle in this game...or to take the fall if things fell apart.

I have no compassion for Powell...his role in this invasion and regime are a disgrace even without this sorid episode. Sadly, if he were a "Real American" and cared more about country than his political ambitions, he'd come forward and say something about this, and soon.
