How will this affect Bush and Cheney(if they aren't caught)?

Will the public care?
Will the story last long?
Will the media be satisfied that they got Rove?

These things may be true, but...

It's my guess that this is what will take down the Republicans in 06'. Of course, if the Democrats take back Congress, they will Impeach Bush.

The whole Republican party will suffer for it at the polls next year.

But that's not going to happen. Something will turn up in Fitz's investigation. There's just too much turd in the oval office for a competant special prosecutor to walk through there and not step in it.
