A good idea/statement on Labor from today WP
"Labor desperately needs to shed its image as a bunch of white guys in dying industries and government bureaucracies who are determined to protect their privileged status. Unions need to more effectively tap into the pool of sympathy middle-class Americans still have for the working poor and the growing anxiety they have about their own pensions, health care and job security."

I am sorry but I do not know how to post the link to this story.

But I know people that fit this category, and I sure know that while my job has no interaction with unions, I am more than willing to back unions in this nation.

I think unions have grown to weak and that corporations are to strong, balance is needed and I want the labor movement to recover some clout.

I am just not smart enough to know how to accomplish it.
