SCOOP: John Bolton Was Regular Source for Judith Miller WMD and National Security Reporting

TWN has just learned from a highly placed source -- and in the right place to know -- that John Bolton was a regular source for Judith Miller's New York Times WMD and national security reports.

The source did not have any knowledge on whether Bolton was one of Miller's sources on the Valerie Plame story she was preparing, but argues that he was a regular source otherwise.

It's all "thickening."

Also, from TPM:

Today's Times says that John Bolton did not disclose having given testimony before the Plame grand jury in the forms he had to fill out for his confirmation hearings. That took that too mean he hadn't been called.

But on Hardball yesterday David Shuster said Bolton did testify.

Who's right and who's wrong? Or are both right, and Bolton simply failed to disclose it?

Her role goes way beyond cozy journalist. She was the official mouthpiece for all the shit the Administration wanted to pedal, and she loved every minute of it because it gave her major headlines. Well she fell into it big time when she started playing the Plame Game. As this starts to unravel you can easily see why Bolton was a likely source for Judy blue eyes. And given the Administrations obsession with getting him appointed as UN Ambassador there was not a snow-ball chance in hell she was going to get a release from him to spill her guts. Judy Judy Judy - payback can really be hell!
