What Bush should have said when he introduced John Roberts: |
|
"Good evening. I'm pleased to announce we have been able to settle on a nominee in far les time than expected. Tonight I would like to nominate Judge John J. Roberts, Jr. as a replacement for Karl Rove in the headlines of the nation's newspapers starting tomorrow."
Someone called this comment in to my local paper. I thought it was hilarious.

Now, they didn't move up that nomination...the Rove thing is just a "left wing plot" anyway. :sarcasm:
This is starting to resemble a crew re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic...trying to dance as fast as they can. Problem is they can't keep coming up with these distractions while the blood is in the water.
Nixon tried this crap as well. He went to Russia in the midst of Watergate...doing the detente thing. Then he went off to the Middle East in trying to play peacemaker. As you can see that worked really well for him.
This regime is so detached from reality, I suspect we'll see even more wagigng the dog here as they become more desperate.
