It's time to protest the protesters

Okay it's time to go on the offense with the Fristian right crowd. And start playing offense with them. At best were playing deffense in the "cultural" war or fighting on different fronts. Is there a way that we can mount a massive show of peaceful protest dirrected at the white house or the bishops council?

Note I am not slamming anyones religious beliefs. There are plenty of fine and decent disenting christians on this board (from all branches of christianty who disagree with the white house) but each day we remain silent is anyday that Roe, Stem cell Research, freedom to practice religion, and birth control is in danger. I myself am seeing smaller amount of participation in legislation lobbying efforts of scr so it's time to relight the match.

So what do you think the chances of taking the fight directly to the base of the gop, the Fred Phelps, and the Jerry Fawels, and make them play deffense for awhile. I am open to suggestions on too how to pull this off. (Note a few us are going to do this at parkinsons congresss in a splinter group which gave me an idea for this post. But imagine if a whole lot of people marched on hill in mass.)

1. I went to the local abortion clinic a few weeks ago...

with a sign that said "Hey Christains, the real murderer is in the white house". It was so much fun.

Since then the clinic was burned down though so we dont have one in Palm Beach County anymore.

one last year and one a few weeks ago, google it you'll see. the feds took over the cases no one was ever charged.

11. It's supposed to be everywhere

but I think there will be larger things in New York, Chicago, LA, Washington DC. It's being built from the bottom up, so it needs alot of participation from everyone to help pass it around on the internet and to help organize groups of people to set up walk-outs, protests, and civil disobediance.

Rev. Jerry Falwell Attacks: Christian Alliance is “Hardly Christian”

On July 8th, the Reverend Jerry Falwell sent out an email to the Moral Majority Coalition and the Liberty Alliance attacking the Christian Alliance for Progress. He claims that we are "hardly Christian" in part because of our political views.

On the Sunday following his email, the Christian Alliance received an onslaught of comments that were clearly fueled by Reverend Falwell's words of anger.
