1. I don't know what happened to the people in VA. They didn't use to be
this far to the right. I remember a day when a political debate in VA was a liberal one ..... WHAT HAPPENED????

2. Virginia
They haven't gone dem since 1964. Robb would have lost In 1994 If
Oliver North didn't split the Republicans.

4. When was Virgina debate ever liberal?
I'm trying to think of a real liberal US Senator or Governor in VA's past and am at a loss. Dems have been moderate at best.

The only truly liberal area in VA is in the northern VA DC suburbs.

3. THat's not a scientific poll
Edited on Sat Jul-23-05 11:00 PM by fujiyama
It was just a matter of it being freeped.

But it looks like it's now at 42-41.

Either way it's not a meaningful way of gauging who will the race.

7. What "close polls" are all about...
D I E B O L D and ES & S, and SEQUOIA....The "close polls" allow for a manipulation of votes when it matters..and the "people" will not demand proof (as if that were even possible)..

It's a set up for the "Ooooh, it was soooo close..better luck next time" scenario.."
