How can short circuit blanket pardons for Rove and other Bushies?
At the moment, I'm less worried about this than Democrats forgiving and forgetting before they cut the head off the snake, but my question is on the Plame case and other crimes, is there any way to keep Bush for issuing the blanket pardons his dad did for the Iran-Contra scammers?

1. Other than impeachment and removal from office or public opinion
with a huge outcry the presidential power of pardon is unrestricted.

2. I think the only way would be to convict the prez before the others
I think a sitting president has pretty much absolute power in that regard. But I don't claim to be an expert on the matter.

3. Keep asking the question: Will Bush pardon Rove et al?
Will Bush pardon Rove and his co-conspirators to save himself?

Ask it in letters to the editor. Ask it in public forums. Ask it everywhere.

WILL BUSH PARDON ROVE'S TREASON???

5. It seems likely...
...that if he's going to do any pardoning, he'll do it on his last day in office. Until then, the perps (whoever they are) will just have to sit in whatever cushy Club Fed they're thrown into after the trials. Assuming it even gets to the trial phase.
