CNN: Police: Man shot in subway a Brazilian not tied to bombings

LONDON, England (CNN) -- Police say the man they shot dead at a London Underground station was a Brazilian national "not connected" with this week's attempted bombings on the city's transit system.

13. This detail actually raises more questions because

in the UK we have enough electricians of our own. That means that he could not have got a UK work permit to work as an electrician. (If he had been a dentist, that would have been another matter, the UK is chronically short of dentists.) So he may have come here as a student three years ago and overstayed his student (or visitor) permit. The contents of the rucksack bombs that failed to explode last Thursday led the police to the house in Tulse Hill (a house turned into flats) where he lived in one of the flats. So his neighbour(s) included one or more of the four bombers of 21 July and, what is more, bombers who are still alive.

His family say that he spoke good English, so he cannot have failed to understand the police commands to Stop. I have a feeling that his story has not yet been told in its entirety, and what is yet to come out may not enhance his reputation.
