5. Is Everyone That Naive?

You think that because Gonzales said what he did, that means he's suddenly changed his tune? He is the Attorney General, and he's still 100% loyal to this administration. I had already heard about this fact weeks ago when the story broke, so he's just telling what is fact. He gave 12 hours notice to the White House, and it was not until the next morning that anything official was done about it.

If anything, Gonzales is just stating that he helped out the Bastards, by giving them time to take care of anything they had to. By doing what he did, it helped Shrub immensely, so don't look at this guy with anything other than Contempt. We may Never know what got destroyed that evening.

7. Gonzalez was a Bush robot on Wolf Blitzer this morning

Blitzer tried to ask him several questions including his position on the Rove matter, whether Gonzalez would favor modifying the Patriot Act, and whether the abortion question is an appropriate one to ask Roberts during a nomination hearing. Each time, the answers were evasive and offered no position or information. I kept repeating to myself that these people in the Bush Administration either are hired because of their ability to perform like pure automatons for Bush, or they are brainwashed completely and thoroughly after joining it.

3. Russert , on last weeks MTP, asked Mehlman, POINT BLANK

(paraphrased) "Will you and the administration accept the findings of Fitzgerald if it doesn't bode well for the WH?" Mehlman REFUSED to answer that question and danced his ass off to go around it.

Fitzgerald will NOT escape the wrath of the cabal. They will go after him with both barrels loaded.

Fitzgerald is not from Chicago. He was originally recommended by Peter Fitzgerald, the then IL Republican senator, nominated by George W. Bush, and approved by a Republican controlled Senate.

Fitzgerald did go after Ryan, and now he is going after Daley. He appears to be an equal opportunity prosecutor.

Fitzgerald's reputation is that of a person with no political aspirations, and very little ego.

Smear: Would be hard as this guy has a great resume. When you have guys with credentials like this one it becomes very risky politically to try to smear...

Fire? Want a way to move the scandal into overdrive? Firing him would be the way to do that. Instead of making the issue go away it would be like throwing blood into the shark tank
