Anyone else a fan of Michael Feldman's "Whadya Know?" radio show?
On yesterday's broadcast he said Bush chose Roberts because he was cute and Bush had a crush on him. I was listening in the car and almost spit my caramael macchiato latte out all over the steering wheel in a fit of laughter. The link isn't up yet from yesterday's show, but here a few of his comments from last Saturday's show:

-They’re trying to break up the Fantastic Four: Rummy, the Human Torch; Cheney, Mr. Fantastic; The Invisible Girl, Condi; and Rove, The Thing.

-The President was seen playfully goosing Karl Rove while walking across the White House Lawn in a non-verbal show of support.

-Mr. Bush never said he would fire the leaker. Said he would do whatever needs to be done. And as Laura could tell you, sometimes what needs to be doesn’t get done.

-At the G-8 conference, Mr. Bush finessed global warming and aid to Africa by recommending L.L. Bean cool-weave safari shirts and ventilated pith helmets. Suggested that warming was caused by uranium in Africa.

-The Pentagon says the US military is prepared to fight two Wars of the Worlds simultaneously. Homeland Security reports increased chatter about alien machines buried in the streets. They say it’s sewer work . . .

1. Michael Feldman is from Madison, WI...
He can really get some digs on Bush* and the conservatives. His brief monologue is very pointed and funny!

2. YES! I love that show!
Although I only listen to the radio in the car, so I only catch it if I'm driving when it's on.

My favorite (although someone was standing in), the guest host was doing a correction from a previous show - previously they had talked about how recently 666 was discovered to actaully be 616, which was the area code for some town in Michigan. So, if you wanted to contact Beelzebub, now you knew where to call.

He said they didn't know that when they made that statement, they didn't know that Bush was visiting that town at the time. So, they apologized - TO BEELZEBUB!

3. Absolutely, he's been unrelenting for years. His delivery is so benign
that he gets away with all kind of sharp digs. I'd love to be an audience member of his show, sometime. MKJ

6. I know he is on Wisconsin Public Radio - is he national?
If not - deserves to be. Great stuff and great attitude. He seems so benign and a bit quirky.... and then the zinger is slipped in.

Would love to meet him some day.
