My sister's poem to Karl Rove!

[Pushed To The Left]

This is from an e-mail my sister wrote to me:

In order to make sure our country's newspapers keep reporting on the Karl Rove scandal instead of getting led away by the Supreme Court stuff. The forum I posted to keeps posts at the top if they get replies, and mine wasn't getting any, and it was dropping out of site, so I replied to my own post with this poem:

I'm a naughty girl for bumping this thread
It's not very sporting of me
But bring me a platter with Karl Rove's head
And gleefully happy I'll be

For Valerie girl was just doing her work
Her hubby spoke truth - he was blameless
Her job was important - along comes this jerk
Mean Karl has left us all Plame-less

And agents who worked with this CIA lass
Were suddenly, obviously "out"
Expose her, expose THEM, Karl, man, are you crass
Karl Rove, you're a louse and a lout.

And now sweet John Roberts, so pretty of face
Set up like a big lightning rod
Look here, over here! grabbing all front page space
While Rove slinks off, thanking his god.

And while I agree that Court news reigns supreme
I want to see crime met with fury
Such White House distraction has got me all steamed -
I want Rove in front of a jury!
