Reflections on 9/11, four years after.
still mulling it all around in my mind, as the 4 year anniversary of 9/11 approaches. still putting it all together, connecting the dots, and trying to come to some sort of conclusion, closure, and rest my mind about it, but that isn't happening for me.

how bout you?

2. The problem is that the government has done everything
possible to obfuscate any legitimate investigation into the event.

3. I'm currently reading David Icke
He's a conspiracy theorist. It's far out stuff but mildly interesting. He's written about 9/11 and states that it was Bush's fault. The second book (which I'll read next) proves to be an interesting read.

5. The guy who thinks the Lizard People are behind it?
THERE's a source to be believed...

Here's Icke in full cry: "Among them wrer the US Presidents, Gerald Ford, Bill Clinton and most appalingly, George Bush, a major player in the brotherhood, as my books and others have long exposed. It was Bush a paedophile and serial killer, who regularly abused and raped Cathy's daughter, Kelly O' Brian, as a toddler before her mother's courageous exposure of these staggering events forced the authorities to remove Kelly from the mind control program known as Project Monarch. Cathy writes in Trance Formation of America of how George Bush was sitting in front of her in his office in Washington DC when he opened up,a book at a page depicting "lizard-like aliens from a far off, deep space place". Bush then claimed to be an 'alian' himself and appeared, before her eyes, to transform 'like chameleon' into a reptile.... I know other people who have seen George Bush shape-shift into a reptilian. "

I'll bet he DOES know people like that,. too.....

8. That "guy" is right... but he's also one of THEM!
"He" was given Pod long ago, and now IT spreads disinformation with the truth in order to discredit it.

"I know other people who have seen George Bush shape-shift into a reptilian." - He's obviously lying to make you think he is crazy in order to discredit the truth... which is, NOBODY sees the Lizard King shape-shift and lives to tell about it! :eyes:

I read this book in conjunction with Harry Potter and wondered why this guy didn't just write fantasy or Science Fiction. It would be a hell of a good read if he did!

4. hard to apply closure when the discussion is not closed
still way too many unanswered questions, and too many inconsistencies to formulate any valid conclusions, IMO.

6. The longer the conservatives are in power,
The less certain I am of how 9/11 happened and who was actually behind it. There's just been too much secrecy, censorship and corruption to believe the official version of ANYTHING now.

10. Several things leap to mind immediately...
The 9/11 Commission as conducted was more whitewash than anything else, and many key questions still remain unanswered:
--why was the August memo to the pResident ignored?
--why was the Air Force response to the hijacking so slow?
--why did the White House refuse to ask for a warrant in the "19th hijacker" case?
--if there was "no warning," why did Administration officials stop flying commercial?
--why did the White House fight so hard to prevent a formal investigation into the attacks?

The other thing that comes to mind is that we as a nation are no safer today than we were on 9/10/01. The major thrust of the Administration's efforts has been toward suppressing legitimate dissent, lining the pockets of cronies, and breaking the Federal employee's unions. Consider that:
--chemical and nuclear plants are all but unguarded;
--assault weapons are being sold in stores again, .50 caliber mini-cannons remain on the market, and the gun show loophole is wide open;
--mass transit security has been an afterthought;
--cargo comes into America's ports virtually uninspected;
--the FBI's expensive computer system still doesn't work; and
--right wing domestic terrorism is being completely ignored.

19. 2 more questions
WHo sent the anthrax letters?

Who made the "put" options on United & American Airlines?

Strangely, the questions in your post can all be answered with:

"because they LIHOP."

20. Good questions...
Some more questions:
--why did the adminstration destroy anthrax samples in the lab at the University of Iowa that could have been used to identify the strain used in the attacks?
--how did airliners in the busiest air corridor in the world turn of their radios and wander off course for so long with no alarm bells ringing?
--why was there such a rush to melt down the steel from Ground Zero?
--who gave the order to shoot down the fourth hijacked plane--and was it shot down?
--why were the members of the Bin Laden family rushed out of the country?

Yeah, LIHOP....and if there is an alternative explanation, it's not up to those asking the questions ot provide it...but to those ducking those questions.

24. Off topic but what about the sniper with the military background?
I just remembered all that the other day--funny how that all seemed to fade into obscurity and was chaulked up to one nutty guy that was able to brain wash some Jamaican kid. (How the hell did one nutty guy manage to hold the whole DC area hostage for weeks)

It also occurs to me that a CIA worker (agent? I never knew what her function was) was shot and killed.

Wonder what her job over at the CIA was?

OK - now I am going to put my tin foil hat back in the box.

26. Chalk that one up to the gun industry...
The guy got his hands on a gun that evaded the Assault Weapons Ban, manufactured by a company named Bushmaster, owned by a big bucks GOP supporter named Richard Dyke. (He had to resign from Chimpy's campaign when his name became public knowledge.)

The Beltway Sniper was able to walk out the door with the gun at the Bullseye Gun Shop in Tacoma, which also armed Aryan Nation member and mental patient Buford "Wake Up Call" Furrow, who shot up a daycare center at a synagogue in Los Angeles and later killed an Filipino-American postman. Besides those two, Bullseye "lost track of" nearly 300 guns over a period of a few years. (The store lamely claimed the Beltway Sniper's gun was stolen, but didn't file a police report of the "theft" until the Sniper had been captured and the gun had been traced to them.)

By the way, due to the Republican party coddling the gun lobby, Bullseye and Bushmaster remain in business, and the GOP is trying to pass a bill to make it impossible for their victims to sue. The GOP also PASSED a bill freeing Bullseye from the responsibility of accounting for their guns in writing, and has allowed assault weapons back in gun stores. Nice, eh?

27. I totally agree that all of that sucks and is wrong
But it still strikes me as odd that this individual went through such an elaborate plan to kill his ex-wife and make it look like a serial sniper did it (just happening to peg off a CIA employee in the process)

Like I said I had the tin foil hat out in all of it's splendor today!

He was just shooting people at random in the DC area...

13. Instead of healing the wound of 9/11...
Bushco poured acid on it, rubbed dog crap in it, and left it to fester in the hot sun.

No, I have no closure.

16.  healing the wound of 9/11
I'm getting a handle on it.

Paul Thompson's "Terror Timeline" available in bookstores or searchable
online at cooperativeresearch.org is a good place to start to understand
the facts--all of it sourced in mainstream news.

9/11 Truth is the perfect vehicle to fight back against the Bush
administration. If the American people knew the truth, they would
throng the streets. They are starting to hear it--for instance in David
Ray Griffin's interview in Hustler Magazine's August issue.

John Buchanan ran for the Republican presidential nomination in 2004 as
a 9/11 Truth candidate, saying "if you consider that 9/11 has led us
into fiscal ruin, endless war and constitutional twilight, my issue is
the mother issue of our age."

21. For me, 9/11 IS IT...
It's the beginning, the middle and the end of the story. I have no closure and probably never will because 9/11 could have happened to ANY of us ANYWHERE in the U.S. And we are still vulnerable and not safe.

Yeah I believe it was LIHOP or MIHOP and without a doubt, I believe that if the U.S. public had all the entirety of the 9/11 truth laid out before them-ALL THE EVIDENCE-and made up their own minds about it; even if the majority of the public thought it was LIHOP, then that would be the moment without question that the *Co bastards would be TOAST. The public would eat them alive-*Co would be history and this all would be over.

Oh sure, things are slowly heading in the direction of bringing *Co down, but it's slow and meandering and could fizzle out in a moment just like everything else we thought we had on *Co like election fraud etc.

But 9/11? 9/11 IS IT.

9/11 is the story that should be pursued by the press and by special prosecutors relentlessly.

9/11 IS IT.

22. There will be no closure for many of us until Bush and the Neocons
who did it are tried and conviceted for murder in this country, Afghanistan, Iraq and God knows where else. Rarely a day goes by when I don't think of 9-11 and the after effects caused by the cabal that is destroying the world as we know it.

I pray for people like Cynthia McKinney, Ms. Edmunds, and the 9-11 widows who work constantly and diligently to find the truth..they are heroes in my eyes, true American patriots.
