Right wing Radio talk show host Tammy Bruce a Democrat???
Her website is like a shrine to Faux news.Weird!

http://www.tammybruce.com/

some exerpts:

Tammy Bruce is an openly gay, pro-choice, gun owning, pro-death penalty, voted-for-President Bush progressive feminist. She was drawn into feminist activism in the late 1980's to contribute to the ongoing effort to ensure safe and legal abortion for all women. Just two years after joining the National Organization for Women, and with a brand of feminism that places her somewhere between Donna Reed and Thelma and Louise, Ms. Bruce was elected president of the Los Angeles chapter of NOW at the age of 27.

Ms. Bruce's first book, The New Thought Police, was published by Forum, an imprint of Crown/Random House, in October 2001. An analysis of freedom of expression and the culture wars, it explores the importance of freedom of expression and personal liberty and how that liberty is under attack by the dangerous rise of Left-wing McCarthyism. Her second book, The Death of Right and Wrong: Exposing the Left's Assault on Our Culture and Values, also for Forum (April 2003) addresses the rise of moral relativism in society and quickly became a New York Times best seller.

Ms. Bruce’s latest work, The New American Revolution: Using the Power of the Individual to Save Our Nation from Extremists, (Morrow) will be released November 2, 2005.

3. Not a Democrat certainly
SHe's one of two things

1. A Crybaby "The Democratic Party used to care about killing people, now they leave that up the the Republicans" Reagan Democrat.

2. Or just confused as hell, as another poster said.

On the plus side, she's further evidence of a coming split/purge in the Republican ranks.

Democrat" Tammy Bruce: electing Dean DNC chairman was "like putting O.J. Simpson in charge of a battered women's shelter"

Discussing recent controversial comments by former Vermont governor and presidential candidate Howard Dean, Fox News political analyst Tammy Bruce said that electing Dean chairman of the Democratic National Committee was "like putting O.J. Simpson in charge of a battered women's shelter."

From the June 6 edition of Fox News Live:

BRIGITTE QUINN (anchor): Tammy, does it resonate with the base? A strategist for John Kerry made the point that he seems to be trying this class warfare strategy again, and this strategist for the John Kerry campaign says "that doesn't tend to work for us."

BRUCE: Well, it doesn't. Putting Howard Dean in charge of the Democratic Party is like putting O.J. Simpson in charge of a battered women's shelter.

During the segment, Bruce repeatedly identified herself as a Democrat; claimed that people like her made up the Democratic base; claimed that a Republican in the White House is evidence that Dean does not resonate with Democrats; and suggested that Democrats will not win "those red states" with Dean as DNC chairman. Bruce herself supported George W. Bush in 2004, and encouraged other Democrats to do the same.

Once the president of the Los Angeles chapter of the National Organization for Women, Bruce is a nationally syndicated radio host and columnist. According to her website, her radio program is broadcast on 148 stations; it is syndicated by Talk Radio Network, which also syndicates conservative hosts such as Michael Savage and Laura Ingraham. Her columns have appeared on conservative news websites such as David Horowitz's FrontPageMag.com, NewsMax.com, and MensNewsDaily.com. In her bio, she describes herself as "an openly gay, pro-choice, gun owning, pro-death penalty, voted-for-President Reagan progressive feminist."

13. I think she _used_ to be a Democrat
and maybe she maintains that as her voter registration, I don't know.

What I do know is that she spreads liberal-hate all over the radio waves every bit as much of a liberal hate-monger as Rush Limbaugh.
