Poll question: Which is coming first, theocracy or a police state?
We know they're both knocking at the door (or in the case of the police state, just kicking it in), but which one will suffocate our once-free American lives first?

3. Police state. Then you don't need the theocracy, because
you can safely ignore the Jesus freaks.

Besides, we've been living in a police state for SOME time now. Only the technology has gotten more sophisticated.

My Mom is one of those people who is waking up to this a little too late, IMHO. She voted for Bush** twice, despite my begging and pleading, arming her with facts and information, etc. She voted for both FrankenFrist and Alexander, but she is PISSED at FrankenFrist and everyone (including Dimson**) who participated in the Schiavo fiasco and she's doubly pissed at FrankenFrist for his participation in unJustice Sunday. She's becoming increasingly angry and uneasy about this whole bit of melding religion with government, even though I've tried to open her eyes to for years!

Anyway, last night she told me that she needed to learn more about Focus on the Family and some other groups and their agendas and this will be a great reference to send to her and hopefully she'll read all of it.

Thanks again! :hi:

edit: typo

We can't wait for 2006, because that will not take effect until 2007. We have to do it asap, and I mean asap.

12. My, aren't we a cheery, optimistic bunch...
We will change all this, you know, just like all the times before. But here's a tip: it would have to be a police state first, 'cuz we'll never agree to the theocracy without a gun to our heads...

15. Police state
Since it's already here. Theocracy does appear to be next, along with corporate feudalism.

16. As a crazy person myself I submit "CHAOS" to the mix
Order in society does not work with multitudes of people having multiples of goals through multitudes of groups and organizations or anti(non)-organizations.

When real paranoia on a large scale really sets in, things can get rather unpredictable
