[Splinter Cell]

I know this is not going to be news to anyone, but the above magazine is getting so far to the right it's not even worth reading anymore.

I'm sure there are a lot of people on here that hate most of the major news magazines for one reason or another, but I have a sub. to Newsweek, Time, and US News/World Report.

I've noticed for some time that the USNWR is more conservative, but this weeks article written by dumbass Michael Barone put me over the top. It went on and on about how the movement to "discredit" Bush has started to die off, and people are waking up to how right and wonderful he is about everything. It then went on to praise the Nixon and Reagan admins. for being so honest and strong in the face of the "liberal media". He even wonders why Nixon won 49 states and then had to leave office. He believes it's because the media made up a bunch of shit about Tricky Dick.

He says the American people are moving away from "liberal media" and following more "legit" sources like FAUX News.

2. The magazine Foreign Affairs closed and switched subscribers to USNWR.

My friend was beyond words that a fine magazine like Foreign Affairs could end its circulation and switch its readers to such tripe. He doesn't even read it; it goes straight into the trash.

USNWR has been loony for a long time.

I'm starting to see why. I have always known that it was fairly conservative, but I didn't pay that much attention and now have seen it turn into a print copy of FAUX. They have ZERO liberal point of view most of the time.

I'm starting to think far and away NEWSWEEK is the best of the three. I came very close to dumping my TIME sub. when they chose Chimpy as "Primate Of The Year".

3. Michael Barone is a right wing pimp no matter who he's working for.

His stuff is so outrageous that I want to believe that he's getting paid. But he probably doesn't make as much as Ann Coulter.

5. It's amazing how the definition of "article" has changed...

it used to mean "a researched piece of news in printed form." Now it's "Opinion piece based on the author's dillutional view of the world...in printed form."

Why didn't he just save some time and write:
"Duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, doi. Duh, doi, drrr, drrr, duh, doi, duh, drrr drrr..."
