11. In these times of unregulated monopolies
being fiscally conservative means we need more regulation not less. Its no wonder fiscally conservative ends up in the left sphere.

Mine also ended up negative -6.75

60. I've given the test to a number of relatives
voting libertarians, conservative republicans. Nobody has been more right than a positive 1.5 off center in either direction. The people who think they are conservative show up smack in the middle as supposed centrists, unlike the people they vote for.

The libertarian relatives found it interesting. The conservative republicans immediately derided it as being flawed and attacked the test itself.

*sigh*

14. Well, negative numbers indicate
left

There are two areas of political opinion, social and economic issues, which each have left/right opinions.

On this scale Economic lefts are negative, with -10 being the extreme (communism) and +10 being the other extreme laissez faire capitalism(0 being moderate)

With the social scale, libertarian = left and authoritarian = right, with the extreme libertarian (-10) being anarchism) and extreme authoritarian being Fascism and dictatorships.

Within each measure, only consider the equivalent meaning of each "example" (like with economics, only consider the ECONOMIC issues of Communism, and with social issues, only consider the SOCIAL stances of Fascism).

30. moderate/centrist libertarian
left/right: 0.13
auth/lib: -1.28

pretty accurate for me, since I am an independent and a moderate and a libertarian and have a mixture of views .. which are indeed coherent .. they come from weighing all sides of the argument and thinking about these issues in depth. There are no simple answers - we are all Americans.. our libertarian and democratic values are the unifying forces.. our debate is simply to the left and right and top and bottom of this center.. it is an ongoing process to define what we believe in as Americans.

46. the questions...
...aren't great. some of them are unclear or don't have enough differentiation. i found it difficult to answer the questions in a way that reflected my views, particularly the economic ones (e.g. "globalization should exist primarily to serve humanity rather than corporate interests" - i'm not really sure what they mean). perhaps i'm not particularly bright.

for the record, the quiz put me at -3.25E, -6.15S...hard to comment on its "accuracy".
