1. Holy shit...

"Eighty-Seven Billion dollars ... This is what the President is asking for. It is 100 feet tall, 250 feet long, and 125 feet wide. A stack of singles would be 28,998,000 feet, or over 5,492 miles, or a round-trip between Washington DC and Los Angeles, California. (2,650 miles, one-way).

A Boeing 737-200 jet is 100 feet long. You could fit 2 of those jets nose to nose along the length of this pile, and have room to spare.

If we spread the $87 billion over an American football field, we would not be able to see much of the game. The players would be buried in 55 feet of money.

$87 billion is more than all of the states' current budget deficits, combined. $87 billion is more than twice the amount we're spending on Homeland Security."

Really more like holy shit actually. Did you see how small that person and car are compared to the 272bil stack? It's almost like standing next to Tower 7!!!!!

This pic cracks me up

4. Yes, think what we could have done with this money....
As it is, these evil murderous bastards are killing American soldiers and innocent Iraqi men women and children - all so they can POCKET the majority of the money.

What do you really think happens with billions and billions of dollars for this war? I say it goes right into the pockets of war profiteers.

Just think what a real president, a real government of the people for the people would do with these billions. I say we put it into clean energy so that we solve three of our major problems - energy, global warming, and polluting ourselves to death.

Just how far will Americans and the world let our earth deteriorate? To the point of no return? What then - mass scramble to 'save the planet'?

You are diving in your car and slowly it starts making 'funny noises'. Then more rattles and noises. You have to take a long trip in the middle of the desert - do you get the car fixed before your trip? Or do you just take your trip - hoping that everything is ok? You know common sense says to 'fix the car' so that you are more assured of a safe passage.

Quite the opposite, our government not only will not fix the car, it wants more noises and rattles and ignores the problem.

I guess they all think there is another car to use...

5. Oh Man....
What could a Humanitarian Nation or a REAL Christian Nation do with that money?

Instead, OUR leaders spend it killing innocent people and blowing stuff up.
Somewhere, someday, They will be held accountable for this orgy of destruction and murder.

by True Majority. If they had put it out there as a commercial we'd have educated a lot of people in a great way.

If you haven't seen it - (or even if you have, see it again...)

What a great way to illustrate the waste of this illegal invasion. I think I will send this link along. More people need to see this. Thanks for the find and link.

11. Shocking...
But what comes to my mind is the actual worthlessness of the dollar. That we can just print all we want without the gold to back it up and spend, spend, spend. Sooner or later all of this national debt will blow up in our faces and history will point a long arm of incrimination at * and Congress.

That money could have made such a better future for our children and grandchildren. How sad....
