Those of us who aren't feeling it have only ourselves to blame--the "little guy" should have known to invest in the oil and weapons industries.

4. Oh, Gawd....why does this have to be so controversial for me?!?!

I know they're big corp money. My controversy comes in for two reasons: 1-both hub and I used to work at a now defunct (smaller than Lockheed) manufacturing company, which 85% of their work was for the military/NASA. 2-my hub now works for Lockheed as a contractor (yeah, they STILL haven't offered him a perm position, all 'cause he doesn't have a degree but has knowledge oozing out of every orifice).

Right now, all I can do is look at it this way; it's work. It's paying the bills, barely, but it's paying them. With NAFTA and big business ripping off this country of 300mil manufacturing jobs, that puts my hub in a very precarious position as far as jobs go. We have to take what we can get for right now.

... when you can have EXCEPTIONALLY profitable defense contractors. It doesn't appear that any of these war profits have trickled "down" to ever shrinking middle America.
