George W. Bush pretending he didn't shit in his pants..
Edited on Tue Jul-26-05 10:44 AM by kentuck
What with all the heat coming his way from the Fitzgerald investigation and his good buddy, Gonzales, telling the world that he told Card the night before he told anyone else. Then his nomination of Roberts not gettign the attention or working as a diversion as well as he thought it might. ANd with all the troops hunkered down in Iraq, so they don't get any more casualties than minimal, as the Iraqi citizens are massacred daily, there is nothing positive to go with his morning coffee. Then he throws a sop to the Republicans in Congress pretending that the deficits have gone down, when in fact, the sunset of one of his corporate taxcuts which he did not request to be continued, and other stock issues, etc, have brought in a one-time surge in revenues, and they can say their taxcuts are working just before the next election. They are lying to themselves. Now Bush is pretending he doesn't have a load in his pants..

2. I've been wondering why there has been a decrease in US
casualties. It would be interesting to have a graphic where one line represents US military deaths and another represents civilian deaths. Do civilian deaths increase as US military deaths decrease?

5. Decrease in REPORTED US casualties.
Can you really trust them to tell the truth about anything?

6. Also, my impression is that
the US has basically abandoned a lot of the really dangerous areas to the insugency, so that could explain a decrese in deaths.

(We've learned well the simple lesson of Fallujah--stay out of Fallujah!)
