Are people afraid of death? Or are they too damn scared to try living?
I used to be afraid to live, but for certain reasons (health-wise), I am now more concerned about living while I still can.

Everybody should be enjoying life and not fearing job loss or even death. It's going to happen to everybody at some point.

1. Easy answer. They're scared of death.
I mean, who wants to die? Why would you be afraid to live? I don't get your question. But I do know I'd like to avoid death for as long as possible, providing my mind and body continue to perform their duties. :)

that we survive death in some form or other, but I'm not into the heaven /hell /Bible God thingy. Even down to earth, practical minded, no nonsense Harry S. Truman, claimed to have encountered the ghost of Abraham Lincoln in the White House, as did L.B.J. Coming from people like that, I would tend to take it seriously -
