WMD's
How would the finding of WMD's affect your feelings about the administration and war if they are found? Would you still want Bush replaced?

I know this will get your blood boiling but take the time to think before you answer?

1. I never wanted * in the first place

I've always thought he was a worthless loser. The only difference is that now he's a dangerously psychotic worthless loser.

As far as WMD's go... whatever he had was sold to him by Donald Rumsfeld.
And even if they 'find' them at this point, I would never believe a word they said. Why would they tell the truth now? Every single thing, even things that didn't 'need' to be lies have been lies. What makes you think they would tell you the truth?

2. Yes, I would still want them replaced
They stole our fundamental right to self-governance in 2000, and I have had nothing but contempt for them since that bleak day. I could give a rat's ASS whether they find WMD's, or not. :grr:

3. If they found them it would almost certainly mean that they put them
there, so yes, just another reason that the guy should be behind bars with the rest of his buddies.

4. if they were to find them ...
it would change the complexion of the race.

But of course, I would still want Bush out. Why would you even ask? :D

5. I thought that they had some and that the war was ill-conceived.
What I never thought was that Iraq was a threat to the United States or our allies. There was always the taint of lies coming from the adminstration.

First of all there was the comment about rolling out new products in the fall. But the big tip-off for me was when Bush said a year ago that there was an IAEA report out suggesting that Iraq was reconstituting its nuclear program; the IAEA came out and said that there was no such report. That was a major flag on the play.

Any WMD's they find now were of no imminent threat to the US. Imminent means available and ready to use. What evidence is there that Iraq ever threatened the US before we began the big build-up?

6. If they found WMDs tomorrow,
I'd believe they planted them there. According to Army stories from the "invasion of Grenada," a warehouse that was empty one day was full of weapons and reporters the next.

7. It wouldn't affect any of my opinions about this schmuck.
Sorry. Even if there WERE WMDs mysteriously turning up all of a sudden, I'd immediately become suspicious, based on the track record of wall-to-wall lies about - well, EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!! Tell me something he hasn't lied about or misconstrued or misrepresented or "crawfished" about. Tell me. ANYTHING AT ALL.

That also would NOT change the death toll or the wreckage or the fact that we have the whole world against us when, right after 9/11 everyone was on our side. He is the poorest, lousiest, most embarrassing excuse for an American ambassador we've EVER had in our entire history as a nation.

And if THAT weren't enough, there's plenty of other reasons to want him out of there. Like 3 million. Three million jobs LOST, on his watch. The economy in the tank, on his watch. The environment compromised, on his watch. Alerts against terrorism, laughable, on his watch. The worst attack on our soil in American history with plenty of warning beforehand and preparatory advice beforehand and it all went down, with about three thousand lives, on his watch. The disparity between rich and poor widened, on his watch. Our right to privacy compromised, on his watch. The Bill of Rights and our Constitution (which he swore to protect and defend, by the way) all trashed and shredded and made a mockery of, on his watch. The general "my way or the highway" attitude, on his watch. The greed and arrogance and short-sightedness, on his watch. Corporations run amok with all watchdogs either cut back or dismissed, on his watch. Our sense of community and looking out for one-another (remember the "compassionate conservative" crap?) turned on its ear, on his watch. Our fears about terrorism exploited, on his watch. The sanctity of a woman's right to have the last word about her own personal body and most intimate body cavity, seriously compromised and endangered, on his watch. The "I'm not a fighter jock but I play one on TV" dancing strutting Chickenhawk sham while our soldiers died, making a mockery of out our military while cutting back on their VA benefits behind their backs, on his watch. The entire presidential election and the American system of each vote counting and making a difference (which my children were in school supposedly learning about), trashed, on his watch.

I could go on.

There are more reasons than I can count - to want him not just out of a job but maybe preferably behind bars. The whole Iraq abortion is just one piece of it. I didn't like him during the campaign, and found a LOT to be skeptical about, especially since the media didn't seem to want to bother. But having to live with his "it'd be a lot easier to govern if this was a dictatorship and I was the dictator" mentality, I now have come to hate him.

9. If there were any?
The UN was in there and they would have found them. Without killing un-told thousands of people. There is no excuse for the rush to war.

10. No
Because at this point, they would have to find tons and tons of WMD to get people to even react. If they found a small cache, it would almost cause a "we lost lives for that??" reaction.

Not to mention they have to show the WMD they found was intended to be used against us.

12. You have to define WMD, it used to be nukes and such not
chems and bios. Look it up! The misadministration has decided to throw chems and bios in there. So if chems are found not actual WMD, it wouldn't change my mind one bit. Also, Saddam was not an imminent threat to our country. Just a fact! False premise for the war.
Furthermore, Bush* is the worst event to happen to our country, the worst! So, yes I'd want him out, even if there was no war in Iraq!

13. W and his administration would fold like a house of cards
(and it wouldn't take missing WMDs to do it) if the media would apply ten percent of the pressure that was placed on Clinton.

This guy has been handed the world on a silver platter and he's wiped his ass with it, and the general population has been acting like it's chocolate sauce.

I would have more respect for him if he was getting the same "respect" that Clinton got all through his presidency if he was willing to face up to it and take it like a man. And admit when he's wrong.

He wouldn't have been able to make the case for the invasion since people would have had the real facts shoved down their throats daily, instead of "others constantly banging on the war drums" (pretty much W's quote - passing the blame).

14. Yes
I do not like the man's policies on any number of fronts. In fact I can't think of one I liked. Perhaps there was something...but if so, it must have been so small that it escapes memory.

WMD's or not Saddam was well contained and never a threat to the US.
