12. Actually...

... we can get KGO quite clearly most nights (and evenings) here in Victoria BC. Luckily most of the evening and late-night hosts are pretty good by other radio talk-show standards, with the notable exception of Dr. Bill Wattenburg... who I swear is a borderline nutcase.

Other evening/night KGO hosts:


- Gene Burns: probably too libertarian and centrist for most people here, but still a smart guy, reasonably interesting to listen to, even when his conservative side rears up. At least he's willing to debate.

- Bernie Ward: Needs no introduction here :)

- Ray: Hey... what can I say? :)

- John Rothman: Again, probably a bit too conservative for many here (including me), but still left of center... and knows a great deal of political (especially presidential history). I lost a lot of respect for him in 02-03 when he supported the build-up to the Iraq war. And was very pissed off with his negative attitude about Howard Dean (whom I was and still am huge supporter). Nevertheless, Rothman can't stand Bush, and usually has well-organized and interesting programs.

I'm jealous. Sounds like you live in a great area! BC is the best. I live in Los Angeles. Ray is very quaint and kind of funny! He ROCKS! Reverend Ray knows how to kick ass. Tonight my internet stream of KGO sucks, so I'm listening to last night's show on archives. 15. I live in Malibu

Malibu has cliffs and mountains that block radio signals. I can't receive most radio stations from Los Angeles because of the cliffs! I rarely listen to radio via the airwaves. The internet is my source for radio. It's funny that you have better reception of California stations than I do! What a wacky world!
